Meet Our Staff

Lila Brown - President/Owner
Founder of Crystal Certified Solutions, Inc., Lila has spent the past 13 years working with small businesses, developing custom reporting tools to guide them through their operational quandaries. With the knowledge of small business operations, it was a natural transition to take Crystal Certified into a new direction in 2009 with edi reporting. Lila has developed a system whereby the small businesses can electronically send requested data to larger corporations. These implementations are custom designed to fit into each small business’s current operations as well as into the larger corporations’ data requirements. In other aspects of the business, Lila continues to enjoy training and writing. From 2002 to 2005 Lila wrote the CrystIQ book series. Lila has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications.

Dan Smith - Report Analyst
Dan’s 20 + years of technology experience has a solid foundation in database expertise. His background includes analysis, database design, application design and support, project management and report development. Dan is well qualified to take analytic requests from our broad spectrum of clients, return a comprehensive report design and provide reporting that truly meets the needs of our clients. His understanding of business reporting needs and data design is exceptional and his emphasis on customer service provides a unique reporting partner for our clients. Dan has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and is a Business Objects Certified Professional – Crystal Reports v.2008.

Prabin Maharjan - Report Developer
With a background in programming, ERP process, business analysis and project management, Prabin joined Crystal Certified in spring 2011. His main role is as an ERP analyst with a concentration on Epicor’s Vista and Vantage applications. He is also playing a key role in the project management for Crystal Certified’s Agiledi implementations in the agricultural industry. Prabin has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Kathmandu Engineering College and a Masters in Engineering Management from St. Cloud State University.

Mike Clark - Project Manager
With over ten years of experience as the CFO for a distributorship of heavy equipment ware parts, Mike has strong business and systems knowledge as it pertains to small to mid-size companies. He is adept at handling multiple projects, tracking their progress, delegating tasks and staying in constant communication with everyone involved. Previously employed in the animal health industry, Mike understands the terminology, products and business models, and he quickly builds a trusting relationship with our client’s staff. Mike has over twenty years of overall business experience, a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Accounting as well as a Masters degree in Business Administration.

Sara Buermann – Assistant Project Manager
Sara’s 5 years of business experience as a project engineer at a civil engineering firm brings another business perspective to our team. Her organizational skills and high attention to detail ensure our EDI projects result in accurate cross referencing, detailed data cleansing and overall sound reporting. Sara enjoys working with the clients during her two days in the office, but also has the flexibility to work evenings and weekends to smoothly transition the clients to EDI with less disruption to their daily activities. In her spare time Sara serves as the Vice President/Membership for the local MOMS club chapter. Sara has a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.
